The J X L was originally planned to be a Galaxy-class starship, but after the Enterprise incident at Veridian III, the idea was scrapped. Later, after the Enterprise-E played a major role at the Battle of the Borg, the J X L was shortly thereafter comissioned a Soveriegn-class starship.
The J X L holds an officer capacity of approximately 400. We have seven senior officers aboard, which could be found in the crew section of the on-board computer.
As you can see from this picture of the Enterprise-E, the J X L is virtually similar in every conceivable way.
The J X L has been subdued through every kind of test that Starfleet engineers could think of: The J X L will be a long-lasting starship in Starfleet, and will hopefully continue to serve Starfleet and the United Federation of Planets in the future.
